I’m super excited to have my good friend Natalie of A Nourished Appetite share a recipe with you guys today. She makes THE BEST food. Seriously! If you guys like my recipes, just wait til you try hers. Since moving back to southern California, I’ve actually gotten to hang out with Natalie in person a few times which of course means eating lots of yummy food together. And I’ve had the amazing pleasure of trying this delicious Chocolate Cherry Grain-Free Granola. She gave me a jar of it a while back and I ate it all way quicker than I’d like to admit. But once you try this I’m sure you won’t blame me. I’ll turn it over to Natalie now…

Pan-Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Almonds, Apples, & Raisins
Is it brussel sprouts or brussels sprouts? I have no idea. Whenever I type “brussel sprouts” on my phone, which is quite often surprisingly (or not considering how tasty brussel/brussels sprouts are) autocorrect always changes it to “Brussels sprouts.” I’m going to call them brussel sprouts because that makes more sense in my brain. And it’s my recipe so I can call lit whatever I want, right? I could call it “pan-roasted little baby cabbages with some other shit in it” but I won’t since that’s a mouth full and doesn’t sound very pleasant to eat. So we will stick with pan-roasted brussel sprouts with almonds, apples, & raisins. Okay? Still a mouthful, but it makes me want a mouth full (Hehe see what I did there?). Continue reading
Thai Tea for Two
This recipe has been in the works for several weeks. Several sticky, tapioca flour everywhere, filled weeks. After a few mishaps, messes and tapioca all over our kitchens, all over us and all over the dogs (yes that happened!), it is here to share with the world. Maybe not the whole world because not that many people read our posts, but they should, obviously. Tell your friends! Share the good times that happen here and over at A Nourished Appetite. If anything the whole world can laugh with us….or at us. I feel like you all may be laughing at us, but we can take it. We are both brilliant in the kitchen and both have an amazing sense of humor so, you’re welcome. Continue reading
Homemade Cashew Milk
So I know I just talked about how I’m including some high quality, pastured, full fat dairy in my diet again, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for non dairy milks.
