I cannot believe that Halloween is on Friday! How the heck did that happen? My husband and I aren’t big Halloween fans. We never dress up or go to parties or decorate or anything like that. It’s just not our thing. But we do like to carve pumpkins. Neither my husband or I are very artistic so when my husband busted out a super awesome Olaf pumpkin the other day I was seriously impressed! Olaf as in the snowman from Frozen. I stuck with the Disney theme and made a Little Mermaid pumpkin, mostly because all the stencils I found for Belle looked WAY too hard.
Is it Friday yet? I’ve had a bit of a rough week this week and it’s only Wednesday… But I’m staying positive and pushing through. You know what helps with that? Eating ALL THE WAFFLES!!!!
I don’t know if you’ve ever tried a grain free or even just a gluten free waffle but typically they are kinda meh. Like they taste good and all but they tend to lack the crispy deliciousness that I remember from eating Eggo Waffles as a kid.
I don’t know about how it is where you live, but here in Central Texas it does NOT feel like fall. Sure, it’s cooled off quite a bit and it’s no longer over 90 degrees during the day (as of like last week) and the mornings are getting a bit chilly. But, it’s still in the 80’s most days and there is no leaves changing colors action going on. Considering I grew up in Southern California where there really weren’t seasons at all I should be used to this but I think you still kind of develop that idea in your head about what fall should feel like regardless of what it has actually been like in your experience. Or maybe that’s just me.
Have you ever watched the show The Following? My husband and I watched roughly half of the first season when it first came on but it was a little intense for me so we eventually just stopped watching. I figured I had enough stressors in my life without adding a completely unnecessary one from a television show. Well, it’s on Netflix now and my husband started watching it this past Friday since he had a four day weekend this weekend for Columbus Day and was home all day by himself. (I know, not fair right?!?!) He was watching it again this morning when I got home from yoga and it was totally distracting! Here I am trying to get ready for work and I was already running late, like really really late, and I can’t stop watching the TV!
