I’m so excited for Thanksgiving this year! Okay, I get excited for Thanksgiving every year, even the year that we moved to Texas literally on Thanksgiving day (thank you for that US Army). We may not be spending this Thanksgiving with family, but my good friend Charissa of No Cook Paleo fame is coming up from Austin with her pup to help us eat ALL the food. We’re going to be watching football, drinking our favorite hard cider (in the form of the Cinnamon Cider Bomb recipe at the end of this post), and stuffing our faces with smoked turkey and pumpkin pie! It’s going to be great. Continue reading
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day everyone!!! I know a lot of people are super into Saint Patrick’s Day, but not being Irish or a big drinker I’ve just never really gotten into it. Heck, I’m not even wearing green today (please don’t pinch me!). So while I won’t be partaking in any Irish car bombs or corned beef hash, that doesn’t mean I can’t get into the spirit with a little green beverage…and no I don’t mean green beer!
As I mentioned in my newsletter the other day, I’ve been super busy lately working on a bunch of different projects. I can’t disclose anything just yet, but when I can, my newsletter subscribers will be the first to know. So if you haven’t subscribed yet, you should! You can do that here.
Anyway, since I’ve been so busy, I haven’t had a chance to create anything new for you guys on the blog. So instead of just staying silent over here or just randomly throwing something together that’s not any good, I decided to share a recipe from my eBook Butter Your Broth!
I cannot believe that Halloween is on Friday! How the heck did that happen? My husband and I aren’t big Halloween fans. We never dress up or go to parties or decorate or anything like that. It’s just not our thing. But we do like to carve pumpkins. Neither my husband or I are very artistic so when my husband busted out a super awesome Olaf pumpkin the other day I was seriously impressed! Olaf as in the snowman from Frozen. I stuck with the Disney theme and made a Little Mermaid pumpkin, mostly because all the stencils I found for Belle looked WAY too hard.
