Apple Pie Galette

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Prepare pie crust and roll between two pieces of parchment paper dusted with arrowroot powder until dough is roughly ¼" thick. Carefully remove top layer of parchment and move dough to a baking sheet.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl and stir to coat apples.
  4. Add apple mixture to center of dough and gently fold the dough around the edges of the filling, leaving some of the filling exposed. Press any gaps in dough together.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until apples are soft and crust is starting to brown slightly. The crust will not brown as much as traditional crust.
