Ginger Margarita

  • 1 oz anejo tequila (I used Hornitas)
  • 1 oz organic ginger liqueur (I used Greenbar Distillery)
  • ½ lime, juiced (or lemon)
  • 2-4 oz ginger kombucha, depending on how strong you like your drink (or sparkling water)
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp salt (or sugar, if you prefer)
  • lime wedge (for garnish)
  1. Add ice cubes, tequila, ginger liqueur, lime juice and kombucha to a cocktail shaker or glass jar and shake to combine.
  2. On a small plate, mix ground ginger and salt together.
  3. Rub lime wedge along rim of glass to moisten it.
  4. Dip the rim of the glass in ginger/salt mixture to coat the entire rim.
  5. Pour margarita into glass and top with lime wedge.
