Homemade Cashew Milk

  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • Water to soak cashews
  • 3 cups filtered water
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1-2 dates
  1. Place cashews in a bowl and cover with water. Allow to soak for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Pour cashews into a colander and rinse with water until it runs clear.
  3. Place cashews into high speed blender along with filtered water and blend on high for 60 seconds or until smooth. If you don't have a high speed blender you may want to pour cashew milk through cheesecloth or a nut milk bag to remove the pulp, but this is typically not necessary with a good blender.
  4. Add sea salt and dates to cashew milk in the blender and blend until smooth. Add more salt and/or dates depending on preference.
