Bacon Braised Cabbage

  • 2 Tbs bacon grease
  • ½ head of cabbage
  • ½ tsp salt
  1. Cut half head of cabbage in half so you're left with two quarters.
  2. Remove stem and thinly slice. Remove any thick chunks of stem.
  3. Melt ghee in skillet over medium heat. Add cabbage and salt and cook until cabbage is wilted and starting to caramelize, about 10-15 minutes.
