Bacon Braised Collard Greens

  • 3 slices bacon, diced
  • 1 bunch collard greens (or other leafy green of choice), chiffonade
  • 4 oz bone broth
  • Salt to taste
  1. Heat pan over medium heat
  2. Add bacon and cook until crisp
  3. Add collard greens and stir to coat in bacon grease
  4. Add bone broth, bring to a simmer and reduce heat to medium low
  5. Cook until greens are wilted and the bone broth has evaporated, stirring occasionally, about 20 minutes
