So it’s now January and I suppose for a lot of people that means New Year’s resolutions. Many people go with the typical “I’m going to lose weight” or “I’m going to start working out” type of resolutions and that’s all well and good. But how about this year we go with a little different resolution? How about we resolve to focus on gaining optimal health in 2015? Because isn’t that ultimately what we all want- to wake up every day refreshed because we consistently get good quality sleep; to feel good in our own skin because, well, we have beautiful clear skin; and to love our bodies, not just because of how they look but because of all that they do for us?
This isn’t something that happens overnight. Achieving optimal health is a journey that looks different for everyone depending on where they are right now. And that can be overwhelming. It is much easier to go with the short term fix of working your butt off in the gym and starving yourself to get that change you desire. However, how long is that going to last? My guess is not very long. And I hate to think of the damage that is being done to the body (hormonal balance, metabolism, and more) in the process. So let’s make the commitment to do what is best for ourselves in the long run!
Working towards optimal health doesn’t have to be totally overwhelming though! It’s all about taking things one day at a time (or maybe like 21 days). And I’ve got a great place to start the journey….
The 21 Day Sugar Detox is the perfect way to jumpstart your journey to true health because in just three weeks it will help you reset those bad habits we all have surrounding food, and specifically sugar. Sugar can do a lot of damage to the body. Excess sugar can lead to weight gain, and type 2 diabetes and obesity over the long term. It also causes inflammation which, when not addressed, can become systemic. So kicking that sugar habit is the perfect first step towards reaching our goal of true health! In just 21 days, we can experience less bloating, brighter skin, better digestion, clearer thinking, and no more headaches!
And I say we for a reason… I’m doing this right along with you! After a few too many indulgences over the holidays (totally worth it!) I’ve been experiencing some breakouts, sugar cravings, and a lot more bloating than normal. So I’m starting out my 2015 right with this sugar detox too! So feel free to reach out to me via email, facebook, instagram or whatever else if you need a little extra support. I’m here to help!
And just to make it even easier on you I’ve rounded up 23 of my favorite recipes that are safe on the 21 Day Sugar Detox no matter what level you are doing!

Hidden Liver “Cowboy Up” Burgers
Pumpkin and Pear Soup (sub green apples for pears)
Spaghetti Squash and Sausage Breakfast Casserole

There are so many awesome resources available to you to ensure that you can complete your 21 Day Sugar Detox and achieve your goals with minimal stress and confusion. You’ve got the guidebook, the cookbook, and my favorite… the online program which includes 5 bonus ebooks, workout guides, tons of extra meal plans, and more! You can absolutely do the detox without all these resources, but in my opinion, the more you know and the more tools at your fingertips, the better chance you’ll have at getting the most out of these 21 days. And the best part is you can get all three tools, the guidebook, cookbook, and the online program for one low price!
The big group kicks off tomorrow, January 5th, but you can start it whenever you’re ready and I will be right there with you to cheer you on. So don’t waste anymore time. Start your journey to optimal health now and join me in the 21 Day Sugar Detox!
In vibrant health,
Kiersten
